International festival “ArtPole 2009”

International festival “ArtPole 2009” is new arrival of the known “Sheshory” ethno fest. This year, festival will last for the whole week – in addition to live concerts and performances, participants and gusts will have great chance to enjoy picturesque landscapes of Ukrainian nature, benefit from numerous catching master classes, and try themselves in various challenging art-projects.

For five days from July 12th till 16th for the audience hungry for spiritual sustenance will be available open air creative laboratory featuring artistic studios, small music and theater stages, functioning in the tent camp. The last two days of the festival, July 17th and 18th would be a grand delight for all festival visitors - world class musicians will be performing their best compositions on the big stage. As another headliner of these last days would come final presentation of the most interesting projects created by joint inspiration and efforts during the previous five days.

As the main idea behind festival “ArtPole 2009” is stated complete interaction between the artist and the environment, inspired further construction of the world by those who perceive themselves as parts of our common world system and inimitable authors.
The program of the festival - unique by its combination of music, art and the spirit of freedom, comprises of concerts by icons of the modern music lovers such as Ark Project (USA), Perkalaba (Ukraine), DJ Click Live Band (France, UK, Romania), Воот (Sweden), The Saint Nicholas Orchestra (Poland), Telamure (Italy-France), Caci Vorba (Poland), Propala Gramota (Ukraine), Ulitsa (Russia), Nagual (Belarus), Paramisara (Czech Republic), Tatosh Banda (studio Rezozvuk, Ukraine) in addition to creative performances   Island of Sashko Lirnyk (Ukraine), Lisen (Czech Republic), Theater of shadows of the Spiritual Vallage Verkhnya Bukhatynka (Ukraine), Theater of hand shadows Budrugana-Gagra (Georgia).

Workshops program of the event is heavily in favor of ethnical crafts, offering a window into pottery, withe weaving, wooden carving, cheese horses and paper decorations making secrets as well as more familiar instrumental music, animation and folk songs master classes.
