Lviv archers hit the bull’s eye
Lviv has long been home to Ukraine’s leading archery school, with a long list of international competition winners and Olympic champions testifying to the caliber of the local talent. This September the city’s Dynamo Stadium played host to the sixteenth annual ‘Gold
Autumn’ archery competition, with teams from Russia and Poland competing against their Ukrainian counterparts. In the individual categories Lvivites Yaroslav Mokrynskyi and Kateryna Shabalitova took the top spot, while in the team section Russia won top spot with
its side of Nikolay Avdeev, Anna Artiomova and Dmitry Kozin.
