Lviv Arts Community Salutes Sensual Opening
The opening of the “Deja vu” exhibition by Sergey Reznichenko drew crowds of leading arts figures to the Green Sofa art gallery in May. Reznichenko describes himself as a post-traditionalist artist who focuses on painting vivid images and favours the female form. Originally from a small Ukrainian town, he rose to prominence after becoming the youngest ever student at the most prestigious artistic school in the USSR, an institution named after the artist Vera Muhina. He has always maintained that one of the secrets to his success has been his prominent sense of Deja vu, hence the name of this latest exhibition.
