International Investor Forum

Issue 6, October 2008.

Over three hundred delegates from 12 countries attended the early October Lviv Economic Forum,   with debate focusing on the many ambitious infrastructure projects which have been planned as part of  the city’s Euro 2012 preparations. In his keynote address, President Yushchenko identified plans for a  USD 1 billion railway line linking Lviv with Krakow and the project for a new Lviv Airport as the two  strategic priorities facing the city. The Forum, which is now in its eighth year, was held in the shadow of global financial crisis but nevertheless reflected the growing investment profile of Lviv region.
